About The Bujinkan Tohoku Dojo
The Bujinkan Tohoku Dojo martial arts school teaches Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu which is simply referred to as Taijutsu or Ninjutsu, the art is headquartered at the Bujinkan Honbu in Noda–shi, Japan.
The current dojo configuration is 3000 square feet of space with 72 Olympic quality tatami mats, two changing rooms, a handicap accessible bathroom and wireless internet access.
The training at the Bujinkan Tohoku Dojo is non–competitive and our members do not participate in tournaments. Safety is of utmost importance during training and students are never forced to do something they do not feel comfortable with. Because of this, the Dojo maintains a positive learning environment that results in a fun and family oriented atmosphere.
The Bujinkan Tohoku Dojo currently offers classes for adults (16 and up) and young adults (ages 9 through 15) and juniors (ages 5 through 8) of all skill levels. We currently offer one class per week for 5 to 8 year olds. We welcome all students from beginner to experienced martial artists. Budo Taijutsu is perfect for people of all ages; our students range in age from 9 to 63 years old and our present Soke or Grandmaster is 77 years old!
