The Bujinkan Tohoku Dojo is under the guidance of Matt Hildreth (Jūdan Fū-i Happô Biken Menkyo). Matt has been training in the Bujinkan Dojo martial arts for over 20 years. He holds the title of Shidôshi (Instructor) under the authority of Bujinkan headmaster Hatsumi Masaaki. He began his training under Shidôshi Kevin Harrington. He trains in Japan approximately 1 month per year with Bujinkan headmaster Hatsumi Masaaki and the senior Bujinkan shihan, the latest trip being in September 2007. He regularly attends seminars and trainings with various master instructors from the USA, Australia and Europe. Matt's career is as a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.).

- Nate Daly – Shidôshi

Nate began training in 1996 at the Bujinkan New York Dojo under Shidôshi Joe Maurantonio. In late 2000, he started training with us here at the the Bujinkan Tohoku Dojo. He passed his godan test in July 2001 while in Japan. In September 2002, he began a 3–month stay in Japan. In April 2003, he moved to Germany (for the 2nd time). He moved back to Amerca in January 2005. His most recent trip to Japan was in May-June 2007. He teaches class on Wednesday nights.
- Helena Ridolfo – Shidôshi

Helena currently holds the rank of Godan, having passed the test in September 2007. She has been to Japan 6 times. She teaches 3 classes per week. Prior to training in the Bujinkan, she trained for 5 years in Goju Karate and holds the grade of Shodan (1st degree black belt). She has also studied Tai Chi and Hatha Yoga.
- Tim Dobert – Shidôshi

Tim has 16 years in Law Enforcement and works as a Police Officer in upstate NY. He is also a State certified Defensive Tactics Instructor. Tim has been studying the martial arts since 1978 starting with Okinawan karate, then Akido. Tim started training in the Bujinkan in 1996 under Kevin Harrington and also worked under the guidance of Matt Hildreth for most of the last 10 years. Tim received his Godan from Hatsumi Masaaki in September of 2006. He teaches our Mighty Dragons and Little Ninja classes. He available for training on a limited basis in the Albany, NY area. - Robert Ulrich – Shidôshi

Robert has been training in the Bujinkan since 2001. He has been to Japan for training 6 times. He passsed the Godan test in February of 2008. He has been involved in various martial arts for 30 years.

Dave has been training in the Bujinkan since 1996. He currently holds the rank of Yondan. In May of 2003, he started a training group in North Central Massachusetts. If you are in that area and are interested in training, contact us.

Jim began training in the Bujinkan in 1987. He began his training under Shidôshi Kevin Harrington. He currently holds the rank of Shodan. Jim helps teach the youth classes.
